IE CSS problems..?

My float layout works fine in firefox but in IE the page does not centre and the text is pushed around any ideas?

You do not seem to have an opening %26lt;body%26gt; tag for some reason.
You're missing the opening %26lt;body%26gt; tag, and you need a doctype at the top of your page, e.g. -
