Following from my earlier question I find that Microsoft themselves (http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/03... know that there are faults with IE 7 yet have deliberaltely released it and Yahoo have deliberately promoted it. As a non IT boffin I think to release a product in this way is similar to releasing a car onto the market that won't work properly unless you replace the spark plugs yourself, and is therefore highly irresponsible, not to mention arrogant! Anyone agree?
IE 7 has faults well known to Microsoft and Yahoo souldn't be pushing it - who agrees?internet explorer download
Agree totally. How these companies get away with selling a product that doesn't function correctly is beyond me. Ok, they give free patches to correct the problem, but that's not the point. Microsoft and Yahoo should be accountable in some way. The bloody thing don't work, then why release it.

I'll have to agree on that.
I agree.
True, but you're kinda late in the game, MS has been doing it since there is MS. Just buy a Mac and use Firefox and pity those stuck with Win/IE combo.
yes i agree with what your saying, i got IE7 last week and Ive had not problems yet, however the one thing i cant get rid of is the big ugly address bar at the top of the screen there is not a option anymore to disable it, i thought IE7 was meant to clean up the look of the whole look of the page but they took a step backwards on the look part of thinks.
its the same with everything microsoft releases ,a month after release they tell the whole world where the holes and bugs are on their website !!!! a hackers paradise
so yes totally agree with you
Here here! Now back on IE6
Its alway seems to be the same story with microsoft software. Thats why I now use firefox and not IE.
I do agree that yahoo should not be pushing it.
as i said before, microsoft is the Spawn of Satan, (Bill Gates is Satan ppl) and Fire fox is great, except for the copy/paste bug, that we web developers sometimes need.
