Ie troubles?

whenever I close out of a folder, ie pops out and it says "about blank" ...it's really annoying. It only happens when I close a folder though and it started happening after i installed the newest ie.

sounds like you have spyware, get a good scanner and update it. look in internet options to see what your home is.

The About:Blank homepage hijacker is a variation of a more advanced Cool Web Search hijacker. There are several variants of the About:Blank hijacker and all of them are difficult to remove manually. I suggest you scan your system with an anti-spyware program. The two I suggest are:

1. X-Cleaner Micro Edition online ActiveX scanner found here :http://www.spywareguide.com/onlinescan.p...

The Active X download will pop up in your yellow information bar, download it and install it. If the scanner doesn't pop up right away, click once more on the xcleaner picture on the website, that usually jump starts it.

Remove what suspicious programs it finds.

**Note** The program is in the process between upgrades, you will get a warning that it needs to be updated, ignore the warning and just click on the OK button, the scanner will scan.
